Lely club tines

A friend is running a 4m lely with the cast club tines and is not impressed with how long they are wearing.
Tried sets from kramp and also genuine from chandlers and no noticeable difference.
Do they ultimately all come out the same factory or can anyone recommend something that will wear better?

Don't know to be fair, thought club tines were part of the history books.

Expectations are usually the biggest cause of disappointment.

welded weld on repair tines of the flat type onto the club tines when they wore down,it made a much better job.
If you weld them on before the tines get too worn down, say about 60-65% you can make them last quite a bit longer 'cos you get 35-40% of your original tine, then the same from your weld on tip and then the next bit lasts much longer as you have a thick bit to wear at where the tip is welded to the original tine IYSWIM:confused:
