Lely mower conditioning lumpy

Any tips on how to make better rows? It's a 9 ft, tried the hood in all 3 positions but it just lumps it up,to the annoyance of the forage harvester driver. Could the problem be worn conditioner tines? They have gone quite sharp! Don't want to replace them all and find it no better, as I've read they aren't the best but mine seems terrible. Cheers

So I'm guessing these are ok to be turned? Notice the new one.or are they past it? Over 100 so don't want to do it and find its a waste of time.

Tines are definatly worn, think ure only option is to turn them and see if it helps, air gun on the job might not take too long.we had a lely 240 once and it wouldnt make a decent row going downhill cos of the tines
