Lely tedder fans/users like myself will be pleased to here their back, under Fendt colours.
Exactly the same machines.
Looks like they've dropped the previous Fendt badged tedders, which I assume were Fella.
No leaflets of the Lely machines, just the previous machines.

Unless they’re are completely over the top they’ll still be the cheapest tedder you ever own.
Our 1020 has done 8 seasons now, probably averaging 3-4000 acres a year and still going strong. Only 1 breakdown that stopped us as well, that’s what you need.

Have a 675 here 4 seasons done few thousand acres in that no problems except a couple of punctures See there not making that size again starting at 770 instead

I saw that Malone had a tedder @ Lamma with hook tines on them and thought maybe that was a Lely design or has the patent gone now and anyone can use hook tines ?

I've had a 4 rotor Malone tedder (with hook tines) for 2 seasons. They'd been about for at least a couple of years before that I think.

Not quite the same tine design as Lely I think, and you don't have to turn each tine for headlands, just move a single arm on the back to move all the wheels at once. Far heavier built headstock too.(y)

Galfre have done a lightweight/cheap tedder with hook tines for several years too.

I couldn't get out them what widths they were doing.
It seemed like they got that machine ready for the show.
The leaflet and website are showing the old non 'Lely' machines

I was led to believe they were only bringing out the bigger machines (6 rotors +) in Fendt colours. Not sure why as I would have thought the 4 rotor models had a good following too, with plenty of Lely machines of an age where they might be approaching replacement soon.

It could be that Fendt tend to be at the upper end of the market and they thus consider anything smaller than the 770 to be beneath their customer base?
There surely has to be a market for a four rotor 600 model; but having:said that, though this is only a small farm I would never go back to a 600, good as it is, after having the output of a 770.

so how come when you put in www.fendt.com ... then products, only the twister show, but your link works.
My mate does believe me the machine exists
Different sites, one UK, the other international I'd suspect. If I remember correctly the last time I looked at the Fendt tedders they were all called twister but the former Lely models had an H in the model number for hooked tine. They've maybe decided to keep the Lotus name now but the literature and websites are a bit behind.
