Hi all going to be changing my old nh 640 baler for something better and fresher looking at a welger rp435 are they a good baler one thing I'm not so sure about is I don't always want mega dense bales as I sell a lot of straw by the bale not by weight is it possible to turn the pressure down so it'll make bales roughly similar to how my old nh used to do. When I go to see it is there anything I should really look out for on it other than general wear and tear? Thankyou.

Very good balers the master model is what you want tho .

You can back the pressure right off if you want to and the faster you feed it tgr less you'll get in .

In high winds you'll need to reverse it arse end into the wind to neta bale and in short straw I'd recommend reversing off the swath every time and getting up to full baleing speed as you go back into the swath as they need to be well fed when starting a bale or it'll jam a dose of straw up the back of the netter and stop you netting bales.

Basically drive it like you stole in and you'll get on grand

Just what I was going to say!keep an eye on the bale ramp if it's an early one with a gas strut you might need to keep it renewed.later ones had a big spring and better.belts make the machine...if there cut near edges be wary.fraying isn't a problem but tearing from edges can be.
