I mean an rp 160v ! Anyone ?Anyone running one of these new balers and would like to review it please, weighing up options to change next year, demo coming at some point but could be a while away with the current weather !
yea had one this time.we have only just got it.been waiting 8 weeks for it.I mean an rp 160v ! Anyone ?
What baler do you run at the min is it a 435 or 445??Tidy solution that ! Was just wondering if the moving net roller makes a diffrence ? Only time i have trouble netting is when baling short mashed up straw that gets stuck up the sides of the belts, other than that hardly off the seat ! Anyone that says a welger cant put tidy bales out hasent got it set up properly !
The 160 doesn't have the problem of the straw getting stuck up the side of the belts they have moved the rollers abit and has over come that. One of the last 435's coming up to 60k bales so ready to change for next year
Let me know how the pottinger goes seen one at a local show but not heard of anyone having a go yet.Looking forward to a demo, wouldent go past one now, got the new pottinger coming as well to try out so we will see what its like !
We got a 160 last year. Awesome baler. Only criticism I do have is the back door isn't as quick as the 435 we have but the pros out weigh any small issues. Wouldn't have any thing else and we demoed all the major brands.
Did you try a krone comprima or kuhn, if so what were they like in comparison. We got a 160 last year. Awesome baler. Only criticism I do have is the back door isn't as quick as the 435 we have but the pros out weigh any small issues. Wouldn't have any thing else and we demoed all the major brands.
HiDipper i make a plate that fits in nicely in the space between the net unit and the belts works a treat and looks better than a tarpaulin
Thanks I have a 160v and was wondering if it was the wind that caused the net to wrap around the rubber feed roller now and again. When heavy winds are blowing in to the front of the baler the wind gets behind the net and sometimes stop's getting to the bale and wraps around the rotor or sits in front of the bale.it . only happens in extremely windy days, the tarpaulin has just about stopped this.
Yes tried a krone comprima xtreme, on the back of having a krone for a year in 2012, to see if they had improved. No good to us. Unbelievably slow back door, plus you have to lift the door to the top regardless of bale size to trip the bale kicker. And the bale weights were miles behind the old welger. As for kuhn, we never tried one, but have friend who run them and very happy with them.Did you try a krone comprima or kuhn, if so what were they like in comparison.
