Are they their own tech? Just saw a piece on them in FG and I had never seen anyone buy one before. Seen the odd sprayer, I believe they bought out a company to make them. Not exactly taken off though have they. Always find it weird when a successful company buys a new product and doesn’t sell any....

Hi yes as Marcus said. Sulky were approached by Lemken back in early 2019. They like the family ethos of Sulky and wanted a spreader to fill a gap in their product line. So the Sulky factory produce 3 models of spreader fro Lemken. They are then sold alongside Sulky in some markets such as UK and as Lemken alone in other markets where the sulky name is less well known. The big order ensured the recent investments in the sulky factory in France could be recouped quicker. Its similar to Renault and Nissan or Ford abs Vw working together to share each other’s strengths.
So in UK you can buy the full range of Sulky spreaders ( some 15 different models from basic 900l to full spec GPS section controlled etc 4200l) or you can buy three different spec level models from Lemken. It’s all about choice and a joint aim to attack market share of the others .
feel free to ask questions and I’ll try to help

I don’t doubt his expertise at all but he might be slightly biased mightn’t he? AFAIK he does sell Sulky?!
I actually work for Sulky factory. So yes I I may be biased but the Lemken project is an important part of the groups business in these times of buy outs and collaboration with tractor manufactures . It has enabled Sulky to remain independent and keep steering its own ship!
