Lemken flexpack press

Maybe having a demo of a lemken plough with a flexpack press, the one attached to the plough. Anybody on here use one, work better on heavy or lighter land? Will be ploughing on the sugar beet ground once it’s up, maybe later this week if it stays dry!

Have one on a jewel 8; does a grand job. Mainly chalk with some stiffer clay. Slatted mould boards. Pretty heavy - need 1.5t front weight for 5 furrow.

Parts ££ and do not expect any back up from Lemken!

It’s a slatted mould board they hope to bring out. 6 furrow. He said it does make it weigh heavy. Got a claas 870 to try it on, front weight is a Watkins 1250kg toolbox with a front locker. Could put some weight in that I suppose. he thought it should be ok!

About 250 Hectars with the Juvel8 this spring/autum. Very pleased with the plough and press on light sandy soil / loam. Heavy unit. T7050 needs min 1200 kg In the front

Looks like it’s doing a great job on that soil. We are about 50-50, hit chalk 8 inches down and the other is clay. Not really heavy but slabs over if it’s wet and tough going. How’s it to set up, fairly easy I’m hoping!

Lemken Denmark along with dealer did a great job setting up the plough, and it wasent an easy job with 710 mm tyres. My soil doesent change much, so dont adjust it that much. The hydraulic deepwheel is a joy, and makes it possible to leave a field with almost none furrows
