Lenders In Northern Ireland - Land Purchase

I am currently trying to borrow money for land. Dealing with ulsterbank in NI - they are quoting me 4.1% with a max lending period of 20 years.

Is there anyone in NI who offer better rates? I read in another thread about Lloyds offering 2.2% and AMC 3%

I would be surprised if any bank is willing to lend at a fixed rate over 20 years at much below 3.8%. Check if Ulsterbank require annual accounts - it's a big inconvenience.

looking 3 years accounts upfront - never said anything about annual yet but I will ask

Bank of Ireland are supposed to be very keen but not sure how keen also Barclays might be worth a try. Ulsterbank are about as bad as it gets in NI and I'm a customer. Not sure if AMC operate in NI.

Yes I am a customer also - not overly happy with them but laziness has kept me there! Will definitely look into BOI aswell. Be handy once I have all gathered for 1 bank anyway
