Cant find a label for Twister 500 but assume it has similar buffer zone requirements as Hurricane SC (16027) or Sempra XL (17447).

Aquatic Interim Scheme
6 meter buffer zone (Non-reducible under LERAP scheme).
1 meter buffer zone if dry ditch.

New Twister label is 12m. I can't find the old one on NIAB's ActivSmart. Just wondering if it's on Sentinel.

'old' labels are on Sentinel.

Current Twister with LERAPS interim label - MAPP 16374 and Twister 500 17627.

Expired MAPP 16140 expired 04/02/15 had an interim LERAPS with 12m non reducible, before that 14885 5 metre reducible. The changes phased in over 2016 when MAPP approvals changed.

My view - straight DFF products very impractical now with the non reducible LERAPS buffer. I used to use quite a lot as mixers with Crystal etc. Now use coform products containing DFF - such as Liberator or generics which still retain the more flexible LERAPS reducible buffer. So in effect my usage of DFF has reduced in past two autumns. Hey ho, shame as a cheap active ingredient. But there you go we move on.

Don't think there are any cypermethrin products with reducible buffer zones.

Toppel 10 (08772) LERAP A
Toppel 100 (15696) LERAP A
Toppel 100 (17071) INTERIM Scheme

The expiry date listed is the last date you can apply it or hold stocks of it.

I haven't used ActivSmart yet. Sentinel gets used daily during the spraying season or if answering queries on agchems in TFF! It's a PITA as it is inflexible and regularly throws red warnings in Gatekeeper based on the wrong information. It's not what it was before Reed Business bought Farmade/Farmplan.

Thanks! Idiot question, but does the expiry date mean the latest date you could have used that product in a sprayer legally? ActivSmart is not bad for most of my needs. This particular inquiry is a bit of a one off, so wouldn't get Sentinel just a for a few isolated cases.

As Brisel has pointed out Cyper 100 expiry date was 30/04/2017 MAPPP15936.

There are two dates to be aware of when a MAPP number is revoked. The expiry date ending the 'use up period' when it becomes illegal to apply the product or hold it on farm in store. And before that is a supply date, usually 12 months, when distributors can supply the product. There are the occasional exception - such as chlorpyrifos products a few years ago when literally only a a few weeks notice was given revoking supply and end of use.

Sorry! Another question. Does anyone know whether the old Toppel labels had the requirement not to spray within 6m of the edge of the crop after 31st March?

From Sentinel:

Toppel MAPP 15696 approval expired 30/04/2017 carried the following statement:

Since this product may affect non-target arthropods, cereals must not be sprayed within 6 m of the outside edge of the crop after 31 March in the year of harvest

Thank you! I had found that on the latest label, but wasn't quite sure if there was an older label without this requirement on.
