Let’s just abolish the monarchy

I think when Lizzie dies they’re finished. Will and Kate might have a chance to keep it going but Charles has no chance.
It is time it was consigned to history in all honesty, yet it binds so many former countries of the empire so closely in friendship, I hope that is not lost.

They appear massively out of pace with the rest of the country, but that’s sort of always been their thing. I’m firmly of the belief for example that HRH was 100% correct in the aftermath and outrageous nonsensical hysteria of Lady Diana’s death.

Maybe it’s just me but I can’t see the United Kingdom not being a Kingdom. Just wouldn’t be asking the French for the lend of the guillotine just yet.

In saying that I would be all for a massively trimmed down Monarchy.

I've thought this for a long time. The Queen is a huge asset to this country. William and Kate have the potential to be. But we have to get through Charles' reign first. Now Philip is ruled out out, he is favourite to be the unidentified royal worried about baby Archie's skin colour which would make matters worse.

I don't believe anyone would have been worried about the baby's skin colour.

But what I do know is that it's perfectly natural and not at all improper or in any way racist to wonder about what the bay's skin skin colour might be in any similar situation. Is there any parent or family member or family friend in the whole world who wouldn't wonder? It's just human nature.

This whole episode is just one more example of the concerted effort to whip up racial intolerance.

They tried that in the 1640's. I would have been on the wrong side here in October of 1643!! The only battle site in Lincolnshire although that is not strictly true as we have had it surveyed and we think it was the other side of the 'B' road. But Cromwell and Co. won!! I am a unashamedly royalist person and think that because he was spare he did not know what to do. He married a yank and has the same problems as his anchester. Remove there titles and let them get on with there lives.

Why is everyone so quick to jump onto the passing bandwagon? We have only heard one well rehearsed sobbing side of the story. She has played a blinder using the race card. Family disputes should be sorted behind closed doors not on Oprah 🙈
I don`t like Piers Morgan but he was right when he suggested that Megan should receive an Oscar for that performance. It is not surprising that it appeals to the Yanks in their time of need. Is Disney World closed at the moment?

It would be a huge leap forward for the UK to abolish the monarchy. It is an outdated institution holding the country back.
Anything else in your opinion?

I know that the monarchy are trying to reduce the hangers on but it appears that the lack of a title for Archie has somehow been attached to racism.
