My dad made an interesting observation, selling your farm used to be a big no-no, and only done when there was no other way. Now it is more looked at as a savvy business disicion, to the better we both thought.
I admire some peoples openess on here, hats of to you!

I'm not so sure. There used to be farm sales regularly and particularly in the Autumn, with lots of land changing hands. That's remembering the 1960's to the mid 90's.
Nowadays there are hardly any farm sales in comparison and relatively little land changing hands either.
Not sure what has changed to make it so.

To be vulgar, my current net worth is approx £80,000, mostly in a house.

I've a 7 year plan, via farming and property investment, to increase that to £1mil. The farming will provide the cashflow to enable the property investment.

In order to realise my overseas grazing property dream I need at least £2mil.
Sounds like what you need is a lottery win. What crop or enterprise is going to increase your net worth that much? Mining for gold?
