A local light land farm had brilliantly level fields in the 1980's using one of those. They would go up the field taking a full width and on the return trip take half a width, the joint going up the tractor's bonnet, thus the dualled up Ford 6610 (with a 10ft Cousins) would consolidate the entire field with the dual wheels and cultivate 1.5 times.
