Lexion 760 drive issue

We have a lexion 760 (the last incarnation) which intermittently keeps getting confused as to which gear it is in. The big issue being that it drops the revs to 50% each time. A warning comes up saying critical fault.
We’ve fiddled with wires underneath in the gear selector etc which seems to be the issue.

Does anyone have any ideas before the main dealer fitter arrives tomorrow??
TIA

Worst thing on a Lexion why they feel the need to make it electronic I don’t know. Always a pain to change it takes so long makes me feel a right fool waiting for it to change into top gear sat on the road after coming out of a tight gateway on a slope either that or have to put up with it in top gear with not feeling. A gear stick worked just fine
