I think its a single acting ram if I remember right but I'm maybe wrongSounds like you need new ram seals
Leaking pipegot a lexion 570, having a problem tonight with reel height drooping on one side enough to catch knife a break a section a few times. Tried learning end stops but no different. When you lift it right up, it sorts itself out for a while.
First impression would hint it has a leak somewhereLeaking pipe
Had that last yr
Sounds like Hes drawing in a bit of air somewhere along the line.....got a lexion 570, having a problem tonight with reel height drooping on one side enough to catch knife a break a section a few times. Had this problem on my deutz a couple of years ago. If it the same the left ram is double acting, as it goes up it push oil out of the top of ram across to the right one which is single acting. When left ram is fully open it should pressurized both. It the seal in the left side which is leaking. Hope this makes sensegot a lexion 570, having a problem tonight with reel height drooping on one side enough to catch knife a break a section a few times. Tried learning end stops but no different. Progress! If it’s air read the manual and it will tell you to lift reel right up and keep pressing button I believe for 20 seconds and then lower and do the same, that will bleed any air out.
Our Tucano’s reel keeps getting 2 or 3ins higher on the LH side, I keep bleeding it as above but that only works for a short while!
Was told this week that reasealing the ram probably won’t cure it and you cannot now do anything with the valve in the ram!
Only cure is a new ram.
