Lice in cattle

we used pour on on all the cattle five weeks ago and they're getting a bit scratchy around the yard. Will probably get the vet to have a look if he comes over for another job.

what I'm asking is how often members treat their cows for lice and is it something you regularly treat for? Which treatment? We used bimectin pour on last time, much easier than a jab as its all April born calves and cows together.

Had it in some cattle I looked after once and just used spot on. It did come back the next year, and the dog got it.

I'm not there anymore and haven't had a problem since, so must have been something in the buildings,
