Hi we have been offered the contract of 60 tonnes of waste a week. We would need to spread this on other farmers ground as well as our own. Does anyone know what licence I need to get to be able to do this?

You'll need a SR2010#4 land spreading permit to be in place so that you can apply for a specific deployment https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/sr2010-no4-mobile-plant-for-land-spreading

Cost of the permit is £2641

Cost of the deployment is £1718 per 50ha

Depending on waste analysis, cropping and soil analysis would determine your gate fee. Plus the annual permit subsistence fee, deployment costs and the cost to actually spread and, potentially store.

Depending on where you are, I may have options for you. Message some location details across to me and I'll have a think (y)
