The old man got one. He has been sent back to the shop with it, hateful piece of ****. We already have a Hypertherm (excellent bit of kit), but the Lidl one would not hold the current to cut anything with. Built to a price and not a spec I should think.

Mines going really well love it, much better than angle grinder

Finally got time to unpack mine and had a wee play with the plasma. Just unclear what sort of eyewear to be using, as it's tricky to see with a full welders mask.

I do have an automatic with a flat battery, which gives some shading, but is that enough, or do I need to buy something else?

I gather that will be fine.... I have a friend that took my old auto mask for the same job. It'll cover you for all the rays from eyes and face. Oh and the odd hot rock!

Looking at the review on YouTube the new one doesn’t seem as good as the last one they sold. Love mine don’t use it a lot but very handy when I do need it.

Bargain at 150 quid! The same model is 249 on eBay today.....

happened to be passing a store yesterday and (after seeing this link ) i said to the Mrs , do we have enough milk  she says well wouldn't hurt to pop in :cautious:
Anyway they didn't have the plasma cutter but actually did happen to have :sneaky: a pair of wire side cutters 2.99:cool: a rather nice pair of lined and knee padded work trousers ( slightly large size but really comfy ) for £12 and a couple of packs of hd galvanised 100x 100mm 3mm steel brackets at 2.99 a pack that im sure will come in handy for something (y)

:ROFLMAO:
