Hi,
I'm trying my best to avoid white bread. I have tried glutten free and wholemeal but cant stand the awful taste.
What do other eat for a lunch snack? getting fed up of eggs be it scrambbled or omleted!

Overnight oats is pretty good I use half a tub of Arla Skyre, 50 grams off oats and a good handful of frozen fruit left in the fridge overnight for breakfast. You could have that for a light lunch or do smaller batches for a snack.

Have you tried making your own? I make a loaf every other day - takes just over five minutes, but you need to be around for 2.5 hours. I think a lot of the problems people have with bread is the chorleywood process, not the white bread itself. Not so easy once I start get in later in the summer.

There's a huge difference in gluten free breads.
Most marks and Spencer gluten free is good.
Warburton gluten free Tiger loaf is good.
But none keep

Chicken thighs, roast veg and tomatoes. Cook a big batch, fridge it then heat up portions at lunchtime. Or have cold in warmer weather. Raw chicken is cheaper/kg than dog food 😳
I buy bags of chicken portions from tesco for the dogs, miles better than the tins which went straight through them

Pitta bread works instead of for sandwiches, I've found porridge for breakfast stops me snacking, fruit is the answer instead of reaching for the biscuit tin. Best results I've found are cutting out as much refined sugar as you can, if you can get off chocolate, biscuits and cake and drop alcohol you'll see a big difference, drink as much water as you can through out the day.

betty crocker gluten free devils food cake mixes are great, and her gluten free brownie mixes.

Home made GF pancakes are great, just substitute with doves GF plain flour.

I really don't miss out on anything, but the whole house eats GF pretty much now.
