I’ve a shake gluten free vegan dairy free, chicken and chips for lunch and meat/chip/rice based dinner. 3 big meals a day and very little snackage. Dairy, gluten and sugar are my nemesis. Have cfs so eat any and it’s pains and fatigue.

Try dropping coffee its really helped me with balancing hydrationI've eaten no bread of any kind for a year or more . very few potatoes either . No pastry , apart from a few mince pies in season . I haven't missed any of it , but NO I haven't lost any weight at all , in fact I 'm out half a notch in my belt buckling . Don't know what you make of that ! Supposedly , I'm under Doctor's orders for shortage of breath and a bit of foot swelling , which he says is simply retained water . He put me on water tablets and as far as I can see , not a lot of progress there apart from the certain knowledge that "when I gotta go , I gotta go " A bit quick too if I don't want wet pants !.
well doneI decided to cut out bread and sugar since the 6th feb this year.So only sweet things are fruit and I eat the oatcakes out of harbro if I need a bread substitute . But by and large I dont miss it. I think I was addicted to it. I have loads more energy and can work all day , I no longer get shaky like I used to if I would say do a long haul to the mart and eat a cake and juice on the way home ' for energy' then would come home and could hardly feed my cows with the shakes. I eat more meat and more eggs . I have also lost about 6kg just a small bit over a long time probably better, I was 72kg now im 66 kg. I eat scotch eggs maybe 3 a week . As a bread substitute
