Light land wheat varieties

I've been growing Istabraq for donkeys years now and latterly some Skyscraper. Are any of the newer varieties better on light land, Insitor seems to have very high yield but as always most trials are on more fertile land. Istabraq and Skyscraper perform about the same with Istabraq having slightly better bushel weight. I've tried Sundance which on paper should be ok but had problems with sprouting on burnt out areas when we get a wet spell. Spotlight has been OK as well but nothing to write home about. On very light land in Perthshire so mildew is always an issue as well. Tried most stuiff over the years but Istabraq hangs in there (y) (y) (y) (y)
Generally doing 8 to 9t/ha.

Why not stick with what you know?????

Sundance locally never did much good and suffered with poor bushel weight.

I've heard some good things about saki around here in lightland.
