A bit off topic but I got a load put out on grass last week I was wondering how long it takes to work into the soil. Ie there has been a lot of rain since would a good percentage be washed away?

Well, if you just threw it in the air today it would land somewhere! We run our own spreader.
Cheapest way of getting the Dufftown stuff down the road is to buy it through Simpsons.
They bring it down as a backload from delivering malt up there.
Much better quality lime than the local Perthshire calcium stuff.
