I once took a 1056 and tramspread 750 made by land drive where john mowbury was a sales man to a demo drove it from here in cumbria to the other side of the A1 somewhere nr thirsk must off been in the 80s-very early 90s.i was peed off because all the spreaders where queuing to get loaded but there was a new electric rate controlled spreader and it kept jumping the que
It may off just been a land drive event must off been a dozen spreaders there
If anyone remembers it

Has anyone got any photos of Land Drive dump boxes, I believe they made them when they used to convert Atkinson spreaders

No longer with us used to spread lime with a variety of mfs and land drive spreaders (Atkinson)
He would go anywhere used to spread Humber at my home across anywhere.
And Only a wide Single on the Spreader and 2 Wheel drive MF usually. He didn't like the 4wd one.
We had quite a few places he wouldnt/couldn't go., but they where described as Cliffs by others 🤔
