No fresh US export sales were announced today, and markets will have to wait until tomorrow for the weekly US exports sales data.

The weather in the US continues to contain rainfall across the majority of the soybean and corn-producing regions.

Russian seasonal fieldwork progress data has continued its daily publications, with 20.5Mha of wheat now harvested, at 63.2Mt and an average yield of 3.09t/ha, down from the 3.11t/ha reported yesterday as Russian yields continue to create disappointing headlines.

The market attention will soon turn to South America and focus on Brazil where La Nina concerns persist, a significant soil moisture deficit still persists and the planting campaign for both first corn and soy is set to begin in the not too distant future.
