It is with with regret and sadness that I have decided to part with my little herd of Lincoln Reds.
Through no fault of their own I feel I have to move them on, in the region of 10 females and a bull depending on how many my dad chooses to take on.
All pedigree and should all be in calf.
    Oldest cows 2010 born.
I would rather sell as one group so if any serious buyers would like more information then please PM me.
    Cheers. 20170630_123924.jpg 20170508_140227.jpg 20170508_130806.jpg

He has, a P type, he went on the society bull test, quite highly regarded!
I nearly tagged you to see if I could convince you to take them on!

That's a shame, Ryan. Can you give us a reason? What's the Bulls Name? I thought you were giving those South Devon Boys something to look at!!

Hope the office can help. All the best.

Beautiful cattle there. Sad that you are letting them go. Hope they stay together and get a good home.

It's a business decision, the landlord guaranteed me a barn for this winter, its now more than apparent it isn't going to happen now or ever.
The fodder costs and costs to spring grass growth and ground repair are too high for them to be viable, I'd be better off running more ewes so reluctantly thats the road I will have to take.
There's also the cost of replacing cattle handling equipment because it was stolen.

The bull is Padworth Park Ranger, a lovely animal!

Thanks, Ryan. I sold my last bull to a commercial chap in West Yorkshire. @Doc maybe he knows of someone who would like to try a Lincoln!
    All the best.

P.S. I know the feeling! I had my Trailer nicked, luckily it was well insured.

For those not in the know. Guiggs Bull has no continental blood in him. A 'P' Type is Pure Lincoln Red. A Bull with a 'XP' number has had some Blood inserted from Continental animals well back in there background.

    Tempted.
    Grand looking cattle.
I'll consult my budget as all mine are now inside until April but I'd look at 5 cows.
    I'll pm you this weekend.

Sorry @Wolds Beef, only just seen this!
Sold to a member on here, just tested clear and awaiting payment and collection this week!
They're taking the whole herd and I believe they will be continuing to keep them registered going forward!
I will be sad to see them go!
