line of sight internet

Technically it's as easy as your neighbour sharing your WiFi connection from your 4G router; you could beam some WiFi in their general direction. I think that's what you meant rather than transmitting a 4G signal to him.

I have no idea where you would stand from a contract/legal basis, sharing your connection like that with your neighbour though. I suppose the worst they're going to do, if they somehow found out, is tell you to stop or just cancel your contract.

Only real issue is that 4g data is still relatively expensive, although ee are currently offering 500gb for £100.

Beyond that download speeds may be an issue on a shared connection depending what your both doing plus you need to keep track of his data usage.

Considering most providers throw in a free 4g router when you sign up why not just get him to sort out his own connection?

Problem would be how much data he was useing, especially if there were kids with Xboxes etc
Assuming he has no 4G signal
How about he gets his own router & sim. Plug it in at yours & with some suitable kit send the signal to him.
Only cost to you will be small amount of leccy

Best suggestion. Basically the OP is just hosting their router and antenna and they can beam over the service to the neighbour using a WiFi link. (y)
