Linking holdings

I understand that it used to be possible to link 2 holdings so that cattle dont have to be tb tested on movement. This would be very useful as I have a separate but nearby holding to my father, and we are thinking of farming in a more integrated way but for various reasons would like to keep holdings separate. I can't find any information about this, is it still possible?

Temporary land associations. Run for 364 days before renewal. Land needs to be less than 10 miles away as crow flies. Can be fields or buildings or both.
A remarkably helpful arrangement put in place by DEFRA, most unusual but welcome!

It is very straightforward - you just identify OS numbers for each field/ building on the form, which can be done on-line and electronically signed. No need to print off to send back.
Be aware though, that if BPS is being claimed, that should an inspection take place and any non-compliances with livestock are found, not certain but I think it will impact on both holdings.
