It's October. Heavy dews are a fact of life from now on.Tried today , 16% so we carried on drilling , hell of a few this morning so not surprised , try again tomorrow

. Glad not my combine.I don't care what the moisture is - if it goes in the combine it's going in the shed! One sheltered field has green seeds of 20%. That's going to take some drying.
I find it hard to thrash even when its dry!Trouble is the sample seems to be properly cack this time of year. Heads are not crispy and not threshing well.
