Linseed seed rate

I have no seed rate chart on my lely polymat drill. I will be drilling 25kg an acre of spring linseed, 800 seeds per sqm. Does anybody have any recommendations what I setting number the drill needs to be on

That’s a bit low. We always plant 85kg/ha straight off the heap.

Sorry to sound stupid from the diagram is it 68 turns for 0.1 hectare. Does the Fs column equate to the seed rate position on the drill and z1 z11 column equates to what

Yes, 68 turns = 0.1ha. (3metre drill).

N means air control flap in position N (see diagram to right of table. I.E full air flow) And also little stirrup piece in position N (see other diagram) Z=I means gear wheels as indicated in diagram. These are all to sow at higher rates for "normal" seeds.

For rape (but not necessarily for linseed sowing at mid 30s kg/acre), you turn the little stirrup piece to position F, then you choose which position to set the gear wheels depending on the desired seed rate (read off the table). F means air control flap in position F (in order to reduce the airflow for very light seeds)

S is the pointer on the seedrate adjuster slide.

Thanks for all your help. Just two more questions (1) The z1 column is the seed rate per acre or hectare (2). I have a 4 m drill is it 68 turns FOR 0.1 HECTARE

Seedrates in kg/ha (as indicated in top rt hand corner). I imagine it must be different no. of turns for 4m, as you are simply weighing how much seed will be sown across your 3m over 0.1ha. I think you may have to reduce no. of turns by 33.3%, but someone else may have better maths skills than me (it's Friday night!!)

BTW, Z1 column is the seedrate slider position. Actual seedrate in kg/ha is the column below the relevant crop.

Except on the fine seed table where the z1 column is seedrate. Didn't notice there are two z1 columns (both really headed S) till I looked at the chart again!
