Good plan. Pay for it, bale it, collect it today, or it gets chopped. Sorts out the ditherers, bottom feeders, can't pay/ won't payers, time wasters.

Odd load is handy . Put a bale in with the fat cattle - they push it around and it cleans them up - they lie on it and it works like an oily brillo pad- useless for bedding though

Chop it with the spreader hood out of work..it comes out like cotton wool in a row that can be baled..as it's chopped it makes better bedding.

Agreed, seems criminal.
However, pretty sure you won't get it through the CO.
I couldn't.
No market round here either
I drilled through chopped linseed with my KV tine seeder, direct. No bother at all.

Power stations don’t like it, burns too hot.
its a pig on moving biomass parts. It burns lovely in our boilers though, I’d have been Interested if you were closer but haulage kills it.

Those drills are ace. Plenty of distance between each tine though. I can imagine some drills being a nightmare though.
lexion - it kind of chops and spreads it, looks like candy floss all over the field but doesn’t present any issue for drilling into
Co would not do it but 750a was always fine as is Avatar - certainly a disc drill job !

Sunny day. Go fast. Use speed, not reel.
It’s not the combine it’s the header. If you can get it past the header table then in any machine it’s not an issue as long as you check it regularly in case it’s wrapping around a shaft or something.

Getting it in the header wasn't the problem.
In the CR we struggled to get through the machine, separate the seed from the straw and straw out of the back. So we reverted to an old machine with a drum and walkers.
The old machine is now older so we are going to have another go with the CR, the manual says it should do linseed so was looking for any tips. We have a new knife.
