Anyone running mint
i Am trying to run it off a USB memory stick on my surface 3
It won't recognise My track pad
Any thoughts?

I run it on my son's laptop. Works well. Before I got it, I searched google for others who had put mint on the same variety of laptop to check all would be well.

I'm running Mint 17 on an old Asus EEEPC & trackpad is fine with that
Try the Mint forums for advice on how to identify your trackpad manufacturer & then follow up to check for problems & fixes.
