What gap should I aim for between fung/ manganese/hallmark on winter barley?

Is barley more susceptible to scorch than wheat?

There was a frost this morning, how long should I wait to go from frost?

I would keep fert a few days apart on Barley if possible, watch for further frosts though!

Fungicide was last Thursday, so I was all set to go today, liquid Fert can be a right pain.

I've been thinking the same lately. We have used liquid for 16ish years but still have a spinner for bits and bobs. Now that they can do section control the accuracy issue is less of a worry and we've got the staff to be running spinner and sprayer at the same time.
Loads round here going to liquid, is there anyone going back the other way?

I use to be all liquid but now should only be liquid for last pass. However I changed my cropping plan resulting in an over order of liquid so I am having to use it as the second pass on barley.

I always find liquid a pain to fit into spray regime. Much better to use solid then you can spray and spread in the same wether window. Spreader also much lighter on the tramlines on the earlier passes.

This. The spray will have stressed the crop a bit so give it a few days before applying liquid fertiliser.

Lots of yellow barley around here. I've just done a 6 way tank mix which will rattle it a bit! T0 fungicide, wild oats, Hallmark, Moddus, CCC & manganese.

Spinners still dont like the wind though.

Liquid vs solid debates will appear if you do a search in here & the machinery forums. Expanding farms are the only ones who have moved back to solid where sprayer capacity is becoming more stretched. I do a mixture of both to hedge my bets.
