Liquid fert on grass

I'm looking into doing the above, I've been reading anything I can find on here and some of the FB pages.

I'm just after any little bits of advice really, I think I've decided on chafer dribble bars as the ground is undulating so keeping a constant boom height won't be easy, dribble bars should help with that from what I can gather. Are there any downsides to using the bars other than expense and possible damage? When's the best time to put it on after a cut?

When the forager is half way across the field. Better give him a head start 😂 best thing we did this year start using liquid N32 on grass, night and day difference in how quick it gets going

I emailed chafer last night about a quote for bars, they were doing a deal a few months back on one of the sprayer groups, £10each when bought as a full set.

Are they awkward to fit in the booms? Would it be easier to attach them to the frame and have hose extensions?

We apply a lot of liquid fertiliser onto grass and use Agroco nozzles. They are not height sensitive so great on undulating ground.

Those sound like a good plan B.
