Liquid fertiliser on a subsoiler drill

Thinking of putting fertiliser on at the same time as drilling OSR , have got the bare bones of an accord front hopper to put solid fert on , but was thinking of trying liquid AS .
How simple is it to make a diy kit with a front tank and a 12v ATV pump ? Is there an easy fix to connect to the tractor plug to get some kind of rate governing via a sprayer controller and a limit switch to stop start it ?
I'm sure there are off the shelf kits about but I want to keep a lid on costs before I can evaluate the results .
I don't mind a bit of a challenge making and mending if it saves a few quid in the long run because obviously I'm a tight fisted git .

Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated, or you might have some part of the puzzle for sale maybe ?

Cheers in advance .

I’d be looking at an old sprayer with radar flow control you can get hold of out of mot, then your rate would be controlled by speed input from the tractor like silky fert spreaders are, not having to drill at a set speed which can cause a nightmare for application rates if you hit a lighter patch or sticky patch

From memory NS ( presumably Ammonium sulphate is very hot to have around seedlings N+P starter far superior.
Not sure how practical this would be for liquid application though
Ideally if liquid is possible then a pump at the tank with flow and return pipe to the rear, with a very simple pressure controller with gauge and on/ off ( or better still return) valve linked into the linkage up down switch via a relay
Rate controlling is going to require the advice of an expert, try the likes of Landquip
