Liquid fertiliser question using 27% CAN

spring barley needs a quick lift

any way i can melt 27% CAN , to run it through the sprayer to give it a quick boost ?

Don't think so, when I've used CAN any spilt in the yard just turns to a grey sludge.
Why can't you just spin it in with this rain were getting at the minute it'll soon be available to the plant.

No shortage of water at the mo .

Sounds like you’re wanting to apply N to get into plant quick, suggest using a folia N which is more efficient that soil take up. If you want advice on products then speak to Aiva fertiliser

If it's only a small quantity buy an ibc of ad blue its 32% urea made with de ionised water.

CAN is chalk and ammonium nitrate so after stirring the fertiliser you would have to allow the chalk to precipitate out before decanting the ammonium nitrate liquor to the sprayer.

Ammonium sulphate in liquid form, would this help ?
