I've got some liquid N left and just pondering wether to put it's legal requirements on before drilling, going to have to work seed beds this year due to ground conditions:( or wait and do it post drilling and chance it catching some seed.

Why not? I've done this in spring pre drilling for barley. I wouldn't want to do it weeks before sowing or just before heavy rain that might leach it through the topsoil beyond the root zone but at least this way you're guaranteed to have it close to the seed.

Do it every year, works a treat
