The problem is that, would questions like this be allowed in Brussels - this is proper democracy in action,
we won't get that if we remain. I read a report about the announcement last week, when Mario Dragbi announced
a base rate cut to -0.5% for the Eu, and the resumption of QE, and he announced "that this was being done
by consensus of the members of the commitee. This turns out to mean that even though the majority ,60%+,
of the Governers of each member countries Central banks, voiced the opinion that a rate cut and more QE
were not necessary, at the present, because no actual, binding, democratic voting occurred on this matter,
Mr Dragbi took the view that he and those minority, who held the same view, were in the right and could
ignore the views of the majority.
It has been stated for a long time that the Eu is a slow train crash in
progress. When the whole farrago of negative yields comes home to roost, then we will realise that
we are better off with our own currency and economic policy.
"Questions like this" = sh!t stirring nonsense? Of course that's allowed in Brussels - what else do you think Mr Farage's troops are going to be doing? The answer to his question is no, of course, and in my opinion he is abusing his position to spread falsehoods and fear, to trick the ambivalent public into wanting Brexit. He could have avoided all the nonsense by just reading the European Union Act himself, but then that wouldn't have swayed any wavering voters, would it?
Have a look at his background and you'll see exactly how much of a muppet the guy actually is..
You’re an EU loving Mule (joke!) and obviously are whole heartedly supporting the Lisbon Treaty, so tell us about it. I’ll admit I have no idea apart from the dubious facts that get passed around the Internet. What are the true ramifications of this treaty that will affect the UK.
Always amusing to read how undemocratic the EU is whilst sat in a country with an unelected head of state (based on some magical genetic superiority), an unelected House of lords a prime minister chosen by 140000 people, and where the press is controlled by billionaires with their assets in tax havens.
Ps why isn't this in the politics section?
"Unelected head of state" - if a government voted a law through parliament which got rid of the monarchy,Always amusing to read how undemocratic the EU is whilst sat in a country with an unelected head of state (based on some magical genetic superiority), an unelected House of lords a prime minister chosen by 140000 people, and where the press is controlled by billionaires with their assets in tax havens.

Well i would argue that Project Fear, as spouted by George Osbourne and Phillip Hammond is"Questions like this" = sh!t stirring nonsense?
