Lister Bale Elevator

Thank you, was it much bother to swop over?
No but it doesn't come with a pulley.
From memory it has a 19mm shaft and you can get the pulley and pulley centre from BearingBoys.
I altered the bed that the motor sits on at the same time, I think it was to change the angle slightly so it sat level. Needed new belts at the same time.

All that makes it sound more complicated than it was. You need the reduction gearbox version as otherwise it is too fast. Make sure the pulley you fit is fairly small too for the same reason.
I run mine ticking over as slow as it will go. Plenty fast enough and uses naff all petrol.

I have a teagle run about elevator , three wheels with a draw bar to pull behind the trailer , Galvinised slide and sides , in mint condition , hasn't been used for 20 yrs , and won't be used here again as I'm finished with bales , what's it worth .

Coverted ours to Hyd years ago either run on spare tractor or the one that pulled load up elevator with two long hoses .Tractor need to just be ticking over with spool on pumping.
No fire risk (engine over- heating sparks ect )/ can be used at any location with tractor.

I'd be surprised if a local electric motor re-winding firm could not find you a used geared motor unit, that will be easily pulley-ed or sprocketed to fit, the output speed is not usually far off what is required.
