Listeria?

Got a ewe that lambed 3 weeks ago with all of the classic symptoms of listeria - she is out on pasture that has been shut up since last October and hasn’t had any haylage for over a month as I ran out shortly before lambing started, have given a big dose of penicillin this morning as well as some calciject (just in case it’s hypocalcemia) - anyone got any ideas?

De hydration is what kills them in the end, pen strep and water for listeria. And a lot of luck!

A few different things cause Encephalitis /Meningitis plus Gid . Keep going with the AB'S . 3-4wks after infection is the incubation period for listeria to show
