That eulb has given them £10k?

Another case in point. You didn't learn that from Dairyco [even though industry statistics is one of their specialities]. No, you learnt that from the horse's mouth, namely eulb's.

So what new information or services, not freely available to Jonny Foreigner or through other free sources, have we had from Dairico apart from industry statistics [which surely cannot cost very much to collate]?

Being absolutely serious here. How do they actually justify their existence? Like most such organisations, their whole existence is dependant upon them justifying their existence and therefore a high proportion of everything they do must be to that end. Shall I summarise that in a nutshell? Better not.

How did the mdc/dairy co come about?

How can we do away with the parasite that is dairy co?
How did the MDC come about? you're stretching my memory here, going back to approximately the time of deregulation, but farmers all had a vote on wether to set it up and voted in favour IIRC about 60:40 on a turnout of about 1/3rd.

I wonder how many would vote to keep it today, I wonder how many of those that voted to set it up have since left the industry.

One things for sure I'm not keen on giving them another £10/£15k.:(

Well I had a nice discussion with Dairy co at the south west dairy event few years ago that they little for us organic dairy farmers, lo and behold they came came up with a press release that they were going to do certain stuff to help us. DOH!!

Our discussion group is chaired by a dairy co "rep, officer, facilitator" and tbh any one of us could do a better job!
