Livestock management software

Anyone got any recommendations for farm software packages? Don't want to spend a fortune as only got 250 sheep, 20 sucklers and fatten around 200 bought in store cattle, but would be nice to have something ideally mobile phone compatible that could input medicine usage, movements etc as I do it rather than having to remember to do it when I get in.
Also I think I will get an eid reader for the sheep soon, so something that is compatible with that too. Interested to hear what others might be using and how much it costs?

Shearwell stockmove express. I use it for cattle. £30 a year it has saved me hours sorting out medicine book alone.
I thought all the shearwell packages were hundreds of pounds!! Its the medicine record keeping that is one of the main reasons I am looking for something. Remembering to write it up in the book in the evening is becoming a pain in the arse especially now we have sheep!

The medicine record facility with Breedr is great. All done in real time on the farm with your phone, no need to double enter data from notes. Best of all the App is free 👍

Farm Matters. There isn’t another program that offers such excellent support.
Have they developed an app for it yet? Last time I spoke with them it was in the pipeline but "Rome wasn't built in a day". Other than that I can't fault it as farm software that did everything else I wanted from it.

Personally I'm using herdwatch now, all app/ cloud based.

Support is great, and they've added features when I've asked as well. It's not always the most obvious program to use. I would probably have used Breedr had that been available when I bought into FarmMatters. Breedr only does cattle at the moment, while FM does sheep and crops too.

Farm matters all day long. I've used it now for 5 years, it has a app now or at least I'm trying it out now. It's brilliant everything you could possibly need for everything you can think of farming related. All you need for your inspections and assurance. It's £200/year with no hidden extras or add ons.
If there's anything that you think you need talk to Neil and 9 times10 they will do it. Service is exceptional and its so easy to use. I've had to ring Neil a few times over the years but once I've spoken to him for a minute I've realised how to do it and wondered why I rang him for something so simple.
Will never go anywhere else as it really dose everything I want or need. 10/10.

I'm sucklers but it does everything I want it to do, register calves, treatments, serving, scanning results, I think it is geared up from a dairy perspective though. When selling batches of calves you can scan the barcode on the passport and it automatically puts that animal in for you (I like that bit!).

Totally agree. I wouldn't even consider another package. Knowing that there is someone at the end of a line who will talk to you and not treat you as if you are an idiot!
There are numerous bits and pieces that I have asked for in the software and they have all been added.
It is user friendly, simple and makes record keeping a pleasure (almost! 🤣)

Agriwebb is really good for field and livestock management but I don’t do EID or follow DLWG’s etc so unsure what it’s like on that side of things but it does everything I need with 140 fields and 1500 ewes.
Thanks as always @Al R
AgriWebb certainly handles all aspects of a Sheep and Cattle operation and as @Al R says we can help out whether you are EID tagging or not, individuals or groups.
