Livestock Paint

Any new paint will have warning labels if it contains anything unsafe for livestock to lick. The ingredients you don't want are chromate and lead, and those would only be in an industrial use only paint, and have clear warnings since the 70's here (America).

Otherwise, any acrylic, latex, alkyd, epoxy or polyurethane paint will be safe for animals to lick ONCE IT'S CURED. That is, any common paint available to consumers, and most of the ones from professional dealers.

I'm talking about paints, not creosote, penta, or other wood preservatives.
