Must be the camera angle, calves running about fine burning up the milk. I see what you mean though. That wasn’t long after they were born, wasn’t an easy photo to get.

Today's 10 averaged £245. All 8 weeks old. There was 2 in that had been sucking a cow made over £400 but they were exceptional. My most expensive was£270.

I’ve quite often got less grass in April!!

Yea don’t know what’s the idea, dearer again here this week but I think a big driver here is a lack of decent calves, very hard to find good blue calves.

Don't know the 1st thing about sheep. Easier letting someone else have the grass.

A great man of tradition, and to take a stag home like that is a feat in itself,nice haircut,loolks like he has worn his boots out crawling for a kill . And those hills, what can one say, " fantastic " . Cheers
