They have been really good mothers, but I’ve never had ewe lambs stealing lambs quite like these have done
Yep, she knows what to do - this is a "not a step closer" lookFirst time Mum Christabelle knows exactly what to do. Bonny heifer calf

She was OK and let me tag her calf
I wonder if anyone recognises this bullock? I bought it last Autumn, be ready in a couple of weeks
Nice ewes and lambs, but they just look like Texel x Cheviots.2015 Tex x Lleyn ewe, with her 2019 3/4 Lleyn daughter at the back, and this year’s set of ewe lambs View attachment 957521
One of the favourite Lleyn ewes with her pedigree lambs, right is a ewe lamb

Youngest lamb on the left (one of a twin) and oldest on the right (twin, reared as a single), both Dorset crosses. Mothers are both in my B flock.

Ewe hoggs, 4 pure Lleyn and 2 3/4 bred

Definitely no Cheviot in them majority of my ewes are pure or pedigree Lleyn, just the odd older ewe that’s tex x Lleyn that’s then gone to a Lleyn. Those ewes were from a ped Lleyn flock that crossed some ewes to a texel for better lambs sold live. But like everyone says there’s so much variation in the Lleyn breed.Nice ewes and lambs, but they just look like Texel x Cheviots.

arse length and loin.
Worth keeping one of his sons from a cow with similar traits? And the best bit is he only cost £1100 (came as a job lot with a bunch of cows/calves as the man was dispersing) and calves easily! Wish they all did
