Hoggs in for shearing tomorrow, quite happy with how they have come through the winter considering there was some wee rascals amongst them that probably shouldn’t of been kept

He’s a belter, did he calve ok? I’ve a couple of heifers by him, they calved fine, but know of a few horrors with bull calves.
I’ve still got a few straws in the tank and start Ai’ ing next week.

he was fine, i put a few in and then started to hear horror stories too and was getting really worried! id say no different to the Ferrari calves just popped out, all have been fine. not sure id be using on heifers though

They enjoy a bite of barley on a morning keeps them quiet its turned clarty around the troughs though
