Our homebred maternal lim bull has met the Shorthorn Angus cross behind him. Hopefully she is fit for him and we get a nicely framed heifer replacement out of the union! If not an easily fattened bull calf will do nicely.

October born Char X and pure Sim calves enjoying their last weekend with their mothers.
Weaning tomorrow then onto foggage and out with the creep feeders later in the week.

Actually got some rain in past 24 hours so might be something to turn them out onto by then

I was going to post this picture in the "beyond dry" thread but thought it would be a bit insensitive with the amount of grass in the picture. Photo is of our AA bull that we use to run up after AI.
