you really should know go on tell us it might just make us go organic!I've explained it enough times again and again .
No idea, but depends on season and supply.
thats good we wouldnt want them choke on a wind blown stickernot a morsel has ever past their lips, @Sid would swear on his life
Root and branch reform of food labelling is what is required. NFU action not Red Tractor. End ofNow we are out we should completely reform food labeling laws here to work as a "typical man/woman in the street" would expect.
British should mean totally British (all ingredients and any processing)
UK likewise
If only processed here then that's what it should say (and declare where the ingredients so processed came from).
"Produce of multiple countries" or similar is a cop out and should not be allowed, as is the fudge "British and Irish".
If your supply system is so complex that you can't label the origin then "produce of uncertain origin" is at least honest.
No customers are asking whether the ingredients were RT farm assured at the till so stop abusing the idea to control producers.
sorry you feel that way, but i dont know of any organic holdings around here who are actually rt apparently there standards are above rt looking at there stock i find that a disgrace!
3 seperate farmers leaving trails of dung and slurry over the roads here today.sorry you feel that way, but i dont know of any organic holdings around here who are actually rt apparently there standards are above rt looking at there stock i find that a disgrace!
No your beloved RT want a health plan from your vet not from you. They want a chain of paper not actually see your cows and make an assessment for themselves on BCS or lamenessMilk is something that come from the diet amd conditions of the animal in the last 24 hours not from the whole life of the animal, same as eggs, or slightly longer term wool.
Would you expect land to be assured to 1000's of years to grow assured wheat?
I would expect it to be assured from when it is sown at least.
Exactly how does an RT inspector sitting in your kitchen every 18 months stop this then?3 seperate farmers leaving trails of dung and slurry over the roads here today.
These farmers do non of us any favours!
Thinking of @Clive issue with non assured grain mixed with assured grain.
As the rules stand now, why shouldn't an imported animal be allowed to be RT after its qualification period just like a UK reared one?

I gave up when I had to pay my own vet to regurgitate an annual herd health plan yet I'm the one keen on minimising antibiotic use and never one that is a key human one. It's tragic and if you were caring why would you accept non FA culls have to go and get trucked miles to bypass the stranglehold here. I just won't do it and have to accept thed eduction but it absolutely stinks
And you want to go further for WLA?
It doesn’t .Exactly how does an RT inspector sitting in your kitchen every 18 months stop this then?
Justin King at Sainsbury doesn't agreeIt doesn’t .
But it would have more of an influence over the consumer than if you have ticked a box.
Sorry lost meJustin King at Sainsbury doesn't agree
Mud on road is a police issue nothing that RT would tackle anyway. Just a joke defending it in that way
You missed my point. I want less AB's than the vet and would happily state that in MY repeat MY herd health planI don't think RT is fit for purpose as it is.
For various reasons, one of them being the magic of a short period on a assured farm.
I have to get an antibiotic review from my vet.
The fact I may not have used any at all means nothing. I need a piece of paper.
I didn't take what my inspector said either. I have had a non compliance removed because I checked the guidance and it was not a non compliance!
i keep following but no price on organic straw, and why should you be able to use conventional straw? its a bit like the irish overstocking on slats but still rt. and rt auditers pick up on us for petty little things.3 seperate farmers leaving trails of dung and slurry over the roads here today.

Justin King pulled out of RTSorry lost me
I dont know were your culls go and dont want to , but if you sell them locally dont they just get trucked by someone else ?No your beloved RT want a health plan from your vet not from you. They want a chain of paper not actually see your cows and make an assessment for themselves on BCS or lameness

My point is I don't want to be penalised . I'd like to be recognised for what I do and I refuse to perjure myself on cr@p like not having a cat but needing to worm it
Off topic. So no commenti keep following but no price on organic straw, and why should you be able to use conventional straw? its a bit like the irish overstocking on slats but still rt. and rt auditers pick up on us for petty little things.
Says it all. Not fit for purposeJustin King pulled out of RT
