We have an archived animals section that stores animals that have died or moved off the farm. Our reports also can show animals no longer on your farm. Hope that helps

You can explore all animal information in a listing, like movement history, weighing, weaned records etc. Yep you can upload slaughter house data and we've got lots of reports that can show you areas to improve your performance on.

The SAC shearwell one needs updated. Hasn't been for years. I think Breedr looks good. Definitely worth a look. Plus its free. The cropping software i use makes GLGM shearwell look terrible. Its all cloud based.

Completely off topic. Sorry. But does anyone know when cattle should be registered through scoteid instead of BCMS?

Using @Breedr and I'm trying my best to like it. But sometimes it doesn't seem very user friendly.

No pre-populated her number in the calf tag number box when recording birth.
Similarly, no default breed.

Reports seem a bit hit or miss. Very good I'm sure for high throughput finishing, but wheres a simple herd calving report?
Also can't seem to find a way to record a calf born dead against a cow.

Thanks for the feedback Stuart, you aren't the only person to mention this and we are working on these now.

We recently added this view of offspring but take your point on a simple calving report would be useful and I've asked the data team to make something. I'm going to message you my email address as it'd be great to get your feedback on exactly what you are after.

We've just added a Breeding KPI report, you'll find it in the reports tab and under Supplementary.

You can log a still birth which will also appear in the offspring tab and wipes the cows pregnancy status, you'll find it under activites>breeding.
