Large entry of Suckler cows and calves this month. 120! These include a proportion of our Spring calvers plus our Limousine stock bull.. 20170508_110244.jpg

The remainder of the Spring calvers will be sold in June. All Autumn calvers were sold in February and considering the age range, sold well.

He is a nice bull. The photo doesn't really do him justice. I'm no good at photography. Only selling him as we are selling all the cattle. The blue bull went last September. Good luck with your new bull.

Thanks. There was a flying trade. Never seen crowds like it before in Llandovery. No room to park and you couldn't walk round the ring at all.
111 cows averaged £1834. Our bull sold very well too.
Well done! There's a lot of confidence in suckler cows and beef in general at the moment. Pity we can't say the same about sheep. :(

For once in our lives we perhaps chose the best time to do something. Just hope the dairy sector doesn't suffer any more catastrophes as we will be contract rearing dairy heifers to pay our pension!
