Had a missed call today and also had my annual overdraft agreement letter a month early saying it will be renewed automatically

I had a similar letter from HSBC, agreeing the OD limit & rate staying unchanged. A week later my ‘relationship manager’ rang to discuss my OD requirements for this year. :scratchhead: He seemed quite put out when I said it had already been agreed, but happy to leave everything unchanged anyway. He did say that he was happy to extend the facility considerably, given the situation with COVID, as most had apparently.

I had an email from the Clydesdale Bank saying that they are now ''Virgin Money'' and that my local branch will be having a makeover, and that my Business Manager will still be as perfect as previously, and that there is no need for me to worry, even though they couldn't give a hoot.

I'm not expecting Richard Branson to drop in for tea.

I was surprised to read in the farmers weekly that farm borrowing had risen a fair bit on OD's etc, i thinks its been a pretty good year income wise.

I was told that the clydesdale were taking over Virgin, but keeping the virgin branding because its more popular down south? 🤷‍♂️
My local bank is virgin money now.
