That 6 legger heavy haulage Foden would it have a manual lever handbrake, I wonder.
Crash gearbox, air brakes (none if the air went down) and a manual handbrake, with little or no power steering assistance, a hard days work in the wrong conditions .........

I've had hay baled in 4 stringers in the past and find them handy for that job as the wads are easily managed by hand. However I'm only carting them within the farm. If I was going any distance, think I'd use the Flat-8 grab and put them across the trailer.

i double strap them so strap half way up as well never lost any yet touch wood
